Alcohol ink is a highly versatile and colourful art medium. This medium consists of a fast-drying, highly pigmented solution that is composed of alcohol and dye. It is used to create fluid, abstract designs and vivid colours on a variety of non-porous surfaces, usually on Yupo paper.
Alcohol in allows for great unpredictability and experimentation as the colours blend and spread in unique and organic ways.
Alcohol ink has become a popular choice for creating stunning and one-of-a-kind artworks and this has been demonstrated by my attendees at my Workshop held at The Kings Pub in their barn in Mickleton. Allowing for much creative expression, the ladies thoroughly enjoyed their morning at this wonderful workshop.
