Terms & Conditions

ATTENDING A WORKSHOP

Please note, once you have RSVP'd or confirmed your space at a workshop/class/online course you are agreeing to comply with the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out below and will be incorporated into a contract (“Contract”) between us.

Any other person attending a JaneWhartonArt workshop/class in person with you shall also be bound to comply with the terms outlined below.  'Workshop' includes classes, workshops, retreats, online classes and any form of teaching at any setting.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS

Refunds of workshops/classes/retreats will only be given if:

The workshop/class/online course is cancelled or rescheduled due to teacher illness or insufficient attendees.  Minimum attendees are required for the workshops/classes.

Should a workshop/class be cancelled due to the above reasons, all confirmed participants will be contacted with an alternative workshop/class date. Should you be unable to attend the amended date, a full refund will be given.

Jane Wharton Art does not accept responsibility for changes to participants’ personal circumstances which lead to participants non-attendance, nor can they accept ‘change of mind’ or ‘postponements due to Government restrictions’ (government restrictions including (but not limited to) national and worldwide pandemics) or for any other reason.

Requests to transfer to an alternative date must be made 21 days before the workshop commences. However, transfers are subject to availability and JaneWhartonArt is not obliged to ensure alternatives are available..  Transfers to alternative dates are not given for the weekly Art Night.

If a workshop/class is postponed due to a pandemic, or unforeseen and unusual weather conditions (whether through Government restrictions or concerns about attendee’s health and safety) tickets will remain valid and will not be cancelled but will be rescheduled when it is safe to do so.  If a future date is set and you cannot attend, a refund will be given.

Please be advised it is the participants responsibility to remember to attend a workshop/class.  Should participants forget their workshop date, tickets are non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS AT PRIVATE VENUES

All private workshop/classes/retreats and parties require a non-refundable 50% upfront deposit.  The remainder payment is required 28 days before the workshop date.

Cancellation of the workshop/class/retreats must be provided to Jane Wharton Art as soon as possible to avoid cancellation fees.

Workshops/classes will be postponed if government restrictions (including (but not limited to) pandemics and unforeseen and unusual weather conditions) are implemented.  If so, a refund will be at the discretion of Jane Wharton Art.  Tickets will remain valid and workshops/classes/retreats will be rescheduled, or credits provided for future workshops.
