Terms & Conditions
Booking a Workshop or Class
By booking a space at any Jane Wharton Art workshop, class, retreat, or online course (“Workshop”), you agree to the terms outlined below. This applies to both you and any additional guests attending with you.
Cancellations & Refunds
Please read carefully, as our refund and transfer policies are firm due to the nature of our small-group events and upfront preparation
Refunds or transfers are only offered if a Workshop is cancelled by Jane Wharton Art, for example, due to illness or low attendance. Workshops require a minimum of attendees to run. If minimum numbers are not met, Jane Wharton Art reserves the right to cancel or reschedule.
If your Workshop is cancelled, you will be offered a new date or a full refund if you're unable to attend the rescheduled event.
No refunds or transfers will be given for:
• Changes in your personal circumstances
• Double bookings or mistaken dates
• Changes of mind
• Inability to attend due to illness, travel issues, or other commitments
It is your responsibility to remember the date of your booking. Unfortunately, missed sessions are non-refundable.
Refund Requests
If a refund is considered (at the discretion of Jane Wharton Art), the request must be made no later than 35 days before the workshop date. If a refund is granted, it will incur an admin fee to cover processing, preparation costs and fees incurred through booking
Private Bookings (Parties, Retreats, etc.)
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
- Final payment is due 28 days before the event.
- If you need to cancel, please notify us as early as possible to minimise cancellation fees.
In the event of government restrictions, extreme weather, or other unexpected circumstances, private workshops may be rescheduled. Tickets will remain valid. Refunds are at the discretion of Jane Wharton Art.
Art Night Bookings (10-Pack)
- Art Nights do not run consecutively — you can choose any available Wednesday.
- If you need to cancel a session, please do so by 1pm on the day. Later cancellations will still count as one of your 10 sessions.
Your Responsibilities
- Please keep all personal belongings with you. Jane Wharton Art is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
- Some workshops (e.g. acrylic pouring) are messy — you are responsible for transporting any wet artwork home safely.
Liability
While every care is taken to ensure safety, Jane Wharton Art cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising during a Workshop. Our total liability is limited to the fee you paid for the Workshop. Any personal materials/tools brought to the workshop are the responsibility of the participant. Jane Wharton Art is not responsible for the storage or condition of artworks left behind or not collected.
Photography & Marketing
Photos and videos may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes. If you or your work prefer not to be included, please let us know before the session begins.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise. All standard terms apply to bookings made using a voucher.
