About the Event
Sgraffito: An art technique where you scratch through a top layer to reveal a different colour or surface underneath.
Join me in this expressive workshop. We will layer rich colour and then reveal hidden detail by scratching back into the surface to create striking texture, patterns and contrast. We will then bring it to life by adding paint over the scratched marks, building a vibrant, colourful floral canvas full of texture, contrast and movement. It's an incredibly freeing process and full of happy surprises, where you can let go of control and simply respond to what emerges on the canvas!
Perfect if you want to try something different.
